History

Alba Adriatica is a town of 12.440 inhabitants located in the middle Adriatic sea cost, in Abruzzo region.
Is called “Silver Beach” thanks to the characteristics of its fine sand.
The town of Alba Adriatica is one of the most popular seaside resorts of middle Italy with a large sandy beach (about 3 km )
It is crossed by a bike-path that runs parallel to the sea-coast making it possible to ride without interruption for more than 20 km.  from Martinsicuro to Roseto degli Abruzzi.

Alba Adriatica was joined by several decades the near town of Tortoreto.
On 14 July 1956, after division changing its name to Alba Adriatica who means “ rising sun in the Adriatic sea”
