FOOD

Our country is characterized by the traditional and secular cuisine. You will find in every restaurant "crespelle mbuss ", timbale," virtues ", goat stew, turkey in jelly.
A strong point of our gastronomy homemade are special spaghetti “alla chitarra”, the dough is cut by thin steel wires placed on a wooden frame, similar to a guitar. Well known throughout Italy are our “Arrosticini” which are skewers of small scraps of cooked sheep meat.
The fish and seafood are ever-present on our plates. Fresh produce and cooked by the skilled hands of our cooks.
Our wines are of exceptional quality. Our balanced climate makes them unique in the world.
The wines are Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Cerasuolo, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo.

The Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park is ideal for a day spent in the mountains. It is distant from the sea only 45 minutes by car.
It covers about 160,000 hectares of 44 municipalities divided between the provinces of L'Aquila, Teramo, Pescara, Ascoli Piceno and Rieti. Inside are three mountain groups: the Gran Sasso mountain range, the massif of Laga, the Twin Mountains, and is characterized by the presence of the highest peak of the Apennines, Corno Grande (2912 m.), Where there is the only one Apennine glacier, the Calderone
